Hi! My name is Mikuláš Starý, a designer and artist based in Prague, Czech Republic.

I am an artist and a designer in one person. In art and design, I combine a wide range of my interests. My work includes lighting, glass, interior and space design and installation art.

The determining aspect for the form of my work is light. I started with light objects, but gradually my attention also shifted to the study of natural daylight in architecture.

I am passionate about crafts and therefore handmade is an integral part of my design process.
